Microsoft's flagship racing video game series returns on Tuesday and it does so with very few new tracks and cars. But somehow, developer Turn 10 makes sure that it's a worthwhile racing trek around the globe. "Forza Motorsport 4" may not be brimming with new content, but oh, boy, is it improved.

Start with the look. Yes, you've seen most of "Forza's" cars in previous iterations, but they've never quite looked this good. Turn 10 has spent the past two years beefing up the series' lighting and shadow effects and the results are often stunning. That Lamborghini Diablo has never seemed so real, the foliage comes alive in New Hampshire and the sun is almost blinding in Italy. All but five of these tracks have appeared in the series before, but this time around, they look so good that you'll actually feel as if you're traveling through Europe.
