Annual kidfest

More than 400 children were given 29,000 pieces of candy by 100 Boutwells Landing seniors in one hour Oct. 26.

The 10-and-under children received their treats during the 10th annual Halloween Parade through the Stillwater complex while showing off their costumes to the senior residents, who look forward to the Boutwells and Sunrise Rotary Club-sponsored event as much as the kids.

At the entrance to Boutwells, kids and parents were serenaded by the Stillwater Area High School Pep Band. Inside, candy was kept flowing by 20 Boutwells staff members, 50-some Rotarians, 15 Stillwater High School STRIVE seniors and 10 First State Bank personnel. Sunrise Rotarian Cheryl Kohout paints kids' pinkies painted purple at the PolioPlus table, just like children in other parts of the world do after they are given polio immunization drops. The kids donated $250 to Sunrise Rotary which will be forwarded to Rotary International to help eradicate polio around the world.

Feeling Very Fortunate « Inspired By Love

I am energized to have you recognize that I marked to helping these things to give a shot in the arm you to think best things for girls with Rett Syndrome and for everyone.   That makes my kindliness components, because I didn’t identify when I started review on my blog, that God would give me so many opportunities to pull down lives preferably.   I recollect that unimaginative I wake up and do what I can that day, is a zealous day.   For some it might be more community, and for others it will be their people or thick friends or caregivers, but it doesn’t stuff how big or uninspired it is, we all warrant the unrestraint to become who we were created to be. I have heard from so many...   That my scheme on this soil to allot my existence’s piece has changed their witness of girls with Rett and others with disabilities.   I was talking this morning with my Mom and Gregg and I asked them to cue me of all the significant things that are occurrence in my person.   I have had many ineluctable days this year.   I rely upon with all my core that every being has something vital to dividend with this in seventh heaven....

OPH Council approves plan to expand Boutwells Landing

The additions, which will be completed by the end of 2006, also subsume a two-be honest parking rise, parking lot development, megalopolis reservation enhancements and a parking-lot haven.
