Auf einer Informationsveranstaltung mit über 150 Teilnehmern in Selmsdorf an der ich teilnahm, sind neue Unregelmäßigkeiten über die geplanten Transporte von 170 000 Tonnen Asbestmaterial nach Ihlenberg (Schönberg) aufgetaucht. Nach mehreren Gutachten reichen die Sicherheitsmassnahmen nicht aus, um Gesundheitsgefährdungen für Mitarbeiter und Anlieger auszuschließen. Es handelt sich um Material mit leicht verwehbaren Asbestfasern, das nur oberflächlich abgesichert über die Autobahn gefahren werden soll. Mehrere Gutachter empfehlen ausdrücklich, die Stoffe auf der Deponie in Wunstorf-Luthe zu belassen. Außerdem wurde inzwischen öffentlich, dass die Entsorgung des Asbestes zu einem Preis von 20 Euro die Tonne abgewickelt werden soll. Das wäre so billig, wie in ganz Europa nicht und wirft erhebliche Fragen über die Seriosität der geschlossenen Verträge auf. Ich fordere mehr Transparenz und Aufklärung von der Deponieleitung. Auch die Lübecker Politik muss sich endlich einschalten. Wir sind direkt betroffen. Ich werde mich an einer Demonstration vor dem Schweriner Landtag gegen die Asbesttransporte beteiligen und versuchen, den Widerstand, der sich in Mecklenburg bereits vielschichtig organisiert hat, auch in der Bürgerschaft zu unterstützen.
